The Healing Essence of Music Workshop


' Understanding and experiencing the role of music on our well-being.' 
 

A journey Through the Mysteries of Music 

Aimed at all music lovers - musicians and non-musicians - wanting to unfold the mysteries of music and its influence on the well-being of the individual and the whole; to empower us with the knowledge and the experience of the medicinal aspect of music.  
 
During these workshops I will be sharing original music compositions used therapeutically, research studies, experiments and exercises supporting the concept of music as a powerful medicine. 


We will be looking at:  
 

  • The mystic nature of sound and music - The importance and universality of music as a fundamental element in all existence, giving us a hint of its affinity with our well-being.  

 

  • The macro and microcosmic sound - Sound from the perspective of the atom (particles) and the black hole.  

 

  • The structure and dynamics of the Aura and the Chakras - How music interacts with these 'platforms' and how can it bring harmony.
    Understanding the essence of the energy thriving at these levels.

     

  • Understanding and using unconventional sound and music therapies.  

 

  • Listening to original therapeutic music compositions. These compositions help create channels to connect with different aspects of our deeper selves by bringing them to light in order to address any deep-rooted ‘emotions’ that may be causing imbalances and illness.  

 

  • The Astral or Emotional level of our body, and how can music help support it.

 

  • Emotions are behind old habits and old behaviors that can trigger dis-ease and illness.  

 

  • Emotional awareness – Identifying specific emotions in music exercises.  

 

  • Conscious, focused and intentional singing, listening and playing.

Whether you have any knowledge of musical concepts or not makes no difference. You can start using music to benefit your health straight away after this workshop.

Everything in the Universe vibrates at a certain rhythm. Whether it is physical or non-physical, everything has a frequency. All the elements that make our physical and subtle bodies vibrate and have a frequency. Sound is also vibration and it interacts with our vibratory field, in fact everything in the universe interacts with other vibratory fields. This interaction of all the players in the symphony of the universe create a Universal harmony that holds everything together.

Ancient cultures around the world have realized that everything owes its existence solely and completely to sound. Both in the Qur’an and the Bible there’s the mention: “First there was the word, and the word was God!”

This realization that everything is connected through vibration and rhythm is the basis of healing at all levels: physical and subtle. Whatever your favorite well-being or self-development activity is, the success depends on how clearly you can connect with this concept of wholeness.

Understanding how sound waves, harmonies and melodies affect our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual bodies is shedding clarity on the potential we carry for being able to heal ourselves. We are natural music beings.
